Product Description

IEMAI Carbon Fiber ABS 3D Printer Filament Combined with the advantages of the two materials of ABS and Carbon Fiber, carbon fiber ABS is a high-performance carbon fiber reinforced ABS filament ideal for anyone that desires a structural component with high modulus, excellent surface quality, dimensional stability, light weight. An ideal choice for skilled engineers and enthusiasts alike, It works well for prototypes and tough parts. Read more ABS Filament Filled 20% Carbon fiber Carbon fiber filaments use tiny fibers (containing 20% carbon fiber , in weight) that are infused into a base ABS material to improve the properties of the material. IEMAI Carbon Fiber ABS 3D printing filament is a strong filament, excellent impact strength and wear resistance. it is also a strong thermoplastic material—great for creating durable items that require a higher resistance to heat. ABS can be used for full functional models, and is the closest material to real production models. Suitable for Professional Printing Carbon Fibe ABS filament is a high temerature printing materia. It is more difficult to print with Carbon Fiber ABS than with normal filament ,such as PLA. So it is not suitable for beginners . It is more suitable for people who have successfully print ABS, TPU, NYLON experience. Because of high stiffness, this material is particular quickly wear nozzles among 3D printing . It's strongly recommended this material be printed through a 0.6mm or larger stainless steel nozzle rather than a brass nozzle. Product Features

【ABS filament Filled Carbon Fiber】⚒️80% ABS filament Filled 20% Carbon Fiber. ABS Carbon Fiber filament is a high-performance carbon fiber reinforced ABS filament. Combined with the advantages of the two materials of ABS and Carbon Fiber, Carbon Fiber ABS is ideal for printing durable items that require a higher resistance to heat. Also it is commonly used for printing functional prototypes and tough production parts.

【Carbon Fiber Filament - Features】⚒️ Full mechanical winding and strict manual examination ensure tangling free and avoid filament breaking and snapping.IEMAI ABS Carbon Fiber filament is orderly wrapped, melt well, feed smoothly and constantly without clogging the nozzle or extruder. It does not overlap,no cracking, no tangle, clog-free , bubble-Free. Stronger Toughness. Wear Resistance. High Precision & Low Shrinkage.

【Carbon Fibe ABS - Print setting】?️ Recommend extrusion / Nozzle temperature 220℃-260℃, bed 80℃-100℃. Due to its unique attribute of abrasiveness, we recommend to use a 0.6mm or larger stainless steel nozzle instead of brass nozzles.

【ABS filament 1.75mm - Stable Dimensional Tolerance】⚒️ 3D printer filaments are produced with high precise specification and have a tolerance of only +/- 0.02mm. Minimum tolerance and low warping to ensure consistent feeding and stable prints.

【Suitable for professional printing】?‍? Carbon Fibe ABS filament is a high temerature printing materia. It is more difficult to print with Carbon Fiber ABS than with normal filament ,such as PLA. So it is not suitable for beginners . It is more suitable for people who have successfully print ABS, TPU, NYLON experience. Please consider carefully before you purchase.

Im not a vet at printing and to be honest have always struggled to find a groove. I needed a strong enclosure for my Thanos Motion Card. Let me tell you.. aint nobody gonna break this thing without a hammer. Nozzle 235 bed 85 speed at 50mm/s. Pay no attention to jagged hole in pic.. thats my error in designing it in Tinkercad. Mis measured so had to drill new hole. Anyway Ive always struggled with first layer( mostly my inexperience) but for what its worth this is the first print ive ever been happy with.. it laid like a dream and just kept on impressing. The hole in spool is too big in my opinion tho. Does allow it to rotate on a hanging holder. Had to take it off and lay it on a spinning platform but other than that.HUUUGE 5 STARSThis is an update to the initial review. I removed it due to their excellent customer service. But in short the first spool had too much moisture. They saw my review, reached out and replaced the filament right away. But what I also liked about the process was that they asked a few questions to try and figured out why which gives me confidence in their product line. The replacement was as perfect as you can get with PETG. Sturdy box, air tight sealed bag with silicon beads, low tolerance in size and nicely wound. The transparency is really good, as you can see in my picture, you can see my gyroid infill with 2 walls. Which quite a few transparent filaments I've tried wasn't too great at. Adhesion is great but not too strong. This has been a go-to filament for functional prints. It prints really well for a couple of days, and then you may need to dry it out if you aren’t running it in a dryer box. It took me a little while to get it dialed in, but I love it. Temps: 205/55Good material. Prints fine. The spool is a Piece of Ship work... End of filament extends into center hole area about 15mm preventing spool rotation on peg. Spool tries to jump off mount when printing!! Easy fix to clip it off, then trim with sharp knife so it is flush, creating smooth inner rim. However, this should not be necessary to earn a 5 star rating. Sorry IEMAI.I've always been an Overture guy - I've been using their Carbon Fiber PLA for about a year now on almost every project I've done. That is, until now! I purchased this on a whim, for pretty much no other reason than I wanted to try something different.. Man was I in for a pleasant surprise! Now, I know I shouldn't get too excited, as my experience is limited to just one spool so I can't speak for the consistency just yet (rest assured I'll be back to update this review should anything change for the worse), but the print quality is absolutely superb! Nearly flawless in my case.Sorry Overture, you've met your match (and it was a dollar cheaper when I bought it and at the time of this review)!SPECSPrinter: Creality CR10-S5 (highly modified)Hotend: E3D V6Print Temp: 220CBed Material: Double Sided Textured PEI Sheet (this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TP23MFB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)Bed Temp: 1st layer - 60C Subsequent layers - 50CPrint Speed: 50mm/sSo I got this to test out the strength of carbon fiber prints vs regular pla. The rigidity is there but also a bit brittle. The part that got exposed to outdoor sun got as soft as a banana peel. Definitely only use the carbon fiber pla for indoor use only. Prints do warp so set your print bed to a higher temp for adhesion. This filament for being so inexpensive worked great on my mk3+ the adhesion was great printed easy and the prints look beautiful! Even with a .6mm hardened nozzle I could not stop it from clogging and jamming my printer. I tried running through the recommended temps but at the first retraction on second layer it jammed every time. This also caused a ton of bed leveling issues as well as damaged my machine. So I boxed it back up and returned it because I don't have they time to spend a day perfecting my settings to save a few bucks.Would not recommend risking it with this filament.
