Product Description

About this item Refuse filament waste: If the filament is disconnected during printing, or there is surplus material after printing, which is not enough to print a model, it can be connected to continue printing. Print models in multiple colors: different colors of the same filament can be connected to print out a multi-level model. Wide range of applications for most 1.75mm filaments: PLA/ABS/PETG/PC/PP/PVB/HIPS, etc. Allen Key × 1. NOTE: The nylon displayed in pictures is just for reference , NOT included in the package. NOTE: Filament often lose water and become brittle when exposed to the air for a long time. In order to prevent the filament from becoming brittle, please keep it sealed. FRQ: why is the received connector aperture larger than the standard 1.75? A: when using the lighter to heat, the consumables expand when they meet the heat, so the aperture needs to be designed a little larger, otherwise the connection is not easy to succeed; FRQ: why is the aperture of the connector received larger at one end and smaller at the other end? Is it not done well in the factory? A: when connecting, please push from the small end to the large end. This is the design of the connector. FRQ: why can't I get it all right? A: please check if the Filaments are damp and of the same material. Take a look at the video and practice more. I believe most of the clients will succeed.

Like some other reviews this is a little difficult to use. With some patience I was able to get two pieces of filament welded together with a lighter but too much movement and the pieces would come apart. So with a little more practice it might become a useful tool considering the price compared to similar products going for $50 or more.
