Product Description

Designed and compatible with 3D Printers The PLA filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D Printers using 1.75mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.02mm. PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heatepd print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates YSF 3D Printer's PLA. YSF PLA 3D Printer Filament parameter Brand:YSF Net weight: 1kg PLA filaments diameter: 1.75 mm dimensional accuracy: + / -0.02 mm Print temp: 374°F-410°F (190°C-210°C) Hot bed temp: 158°F-176°F (70°C-80 °C) Print speed: 30-90mm /s Packaging Included: 1 × spool of PLA filaments Read more Please tart to Create Your 3D Printing Now Please make 3D printer filament is to be stored in a sealed bag or box after each print to prevent moisture Be sure to insert the free end of the PLA filament into the holes to avoid being tangled for next time use If there is no print plan within a few days, retract the filament to protect the printer nozzle adjusting the print head and heatepd print bed, the distance between them should be less than 0.1 mm Read more Friendly material YSF PLA Filament is made of premium Friendly PLA material (Polylactic Acid), which no odor during the printing. PLA 1.75 mm filament is a high-performance PLA material with much great strength and toughness. Convert your favorite images into 3D model lithophanes by printing with excellent filaments. High Compatibility We had tested in over 25 of the most popular 3D printers on the market, and we had designed the best suitable spool size that can be used in most 3D printers on the market. Anti-Stringing & warping Technology In our further study and research in Polylactic-Acid, We have mixed it with a special high-composite compound, giving the PLA filament a certain degree of natural resistance to moisture. Resulted in very few stringing and warping while printing the filament. Ultra Smooth Technology YSF PLA filament performs in a smooth and clean printing process. We only use high-purity polylactic-acid masterbatch and making your 3D printing project look soft and delicate every time. Read more

We bought this spool of filament based on the image of a nicely spooled roll. We did not expect it to arrive as nicely spooled as the picture, which is probably good not to have such an expectation. It looked like it was spooled just like any other filament, but if it performs and isn't tangled, it isn't an issue. From the moment we slid the filament into the 3d printer, we kept tension to keep it from tangling up at any point. It wasn't until we were several layers into the spool where we got our first (and only so far) tangle, it was minor enough to just need a little tug, but enough that the extruder couldn't pull the tangle out. Might want to keep an eye on the windings a little bit, but I suspect this was a one time issue. We also had an issue where the filament seemed to blot on one of the layers, which made a visual blemish for the next few layers, but didn't seem to harm the rest of the print or affect the structural integrity of the print, which could have been an issue with the Ender 3, rather than a defect in the filament, but I don't yet have enough experience with filament to make an accurate call. The good news is that the filament seems to print really nicely, and is very sturdy. Even single layer surfaces (like the test calibration dots) were very strongly bonded, and doesn't feel at all like a cheap print. I've printed a number of upgrades to my 3D printer and all the prints have felt strong and chunky. Text can be a little hard to read because of how shiny it is, so I would advise a few test prints with text just to see if it is something that would bother you. I don't mind the prints being shiny, so it's really a non-issue for me. I'd consider getting another spool if I find I need more shiny black, and as long as the tangling was an exception to an otherwise perfect series of filament, then I can recommend it!Love the bright color red but it did not adhere to the platform like others have. I did raise the temp on platform and it worked a lot better.prints well. but color is not as shown. color is more of a pale purple grape than the brighter fuchsia color hereLooked really nice. Spent an entire day thinking my printer was off. I have never experienced anything like this before. ZERO adhesion to the bed or itself. Changed to my my brand and instantly had beautiful prints. I would say that is a pretty solid acid test.Update:After 2 days of a good vacuum sealed heated dry out I gave it another test before I sent it back. To my amazement it prints exceptionally well. It must have gotten some moisture in it somewhere. So is you have this problem just dry it out before you send it back because it's pretty darn nice PLA.I would like to apologize to YSF for making a snap judgment before attempting to dry it.The green pla has a definite pearl sheen to it. Not quite a gloss not quite a silk. I Didn't realize based on the description.Amazon had a great price on this brand, but it did not yet have reviews yet. I took a chance. It is working well so far. I boght two spools; on blue one white. The blue is not as deep and rich looking as it is in the description photo. One thing of note, as you can see my picture, one of the spools was packaged with basically zero vacume. The other was fine. Does not seem to affect anything. Takes a little of the fun out of opening that fresh vacume seal though. So knock off one star. I will update if I run into any pluses or minuses.I have had pretty good luck typically with budget bargain filaments when sorting from low to highest. This stuff was on sale for $16.99 and was a few bucks cheaper than most other stuff. I decided to give it a go and I am having pretty heavy regrets about it.For the last four days, I have been trying to print a single part for a project with numerous failures. I've ran it at 210 nozzle, 50-70 degrees on the bed and even at rate of 2.5 mm/s for the first layer speed. Let that sink in for a moment.... 2.5 mm/s.... that is SO SLOW YOU GUYS!!! And this damn plastic STILL won't stick to the glass bed even w/ superglue. I'm actually impressed at this point with how much this filament sucks. The model itself is not complicated or difficult to print. It's just this filament is so stubborn and bad that it refuses to lay down and even has jammed my Direct Drive extruder a few times. Before you go and say that my Z-probe height is off... it is not. I have a BLtouch and manually have checked its leveling numerous times before starting a print.I contacted customer support asking about a refund and have heard nothing back yet. I am still within the return window so I might just send the spool back through amazon. At this point though, they are not going to get much back from the spool since I've wasted so much plastic just trying to get the first layer finished on this large print.I had some leftover PLA and PETG from other brands that when switched out with, they laid down and printed just fine (same model). It just is not the color I wanted to print in. Garbage filament. Do not recommend wasting your time with it. Spend the extra couple bucks and save yourself the headache. This filament looks great because it has a nice low shine and consistent color. Using the .03 mm nozzle though caused 4 print failures before I figured I would change the nozzle size to .04 mm. Since then I have not had a clog.Overall it is a good filament but do not use smaller nozzles with this as there seems to be some particulates within the plastic.
