After a few days of tinkering with my slicer, Cura5.1, I am finally getting some good prints. I am printing at 210 and 70. I have to use a raft to get good adhesion and prints, but I’d rather waste plastic on a raft than a failed print. BTW, I’m using and Ender 3 Pro.My biggest issue with this filament is the rainbow transition. The picture included is about 10.5 hours into a print that is, per Cura, is supposed to use 20+ meters of filament. As can be seen there is barely a transition between 2 colors. If you’re printing extremely large prints, the filament is probably a 5 out of 5, however if you want the rainbow transition on small to medium prints, this is probably a 3 out of 5. By that logic, overall, I’m going with a 4 out of 5!I bought this on a whim because the finish look like it might be awesome. When I purchased it, it was cheap and I expected to have issues I'd have to figure out in order to get a decent result... Boy was I wrong.I've bought this twice now and it's been my most popular finish by FAR. The first time I used it, it printed flawlessly, absolutely flawlessly. I couldn't believe it, it exceeded my expectations. This second roll I purchased was printing weird areas. Areas that looked like it wasn't getting enough heat and looked hideous. Well, I dried it for 11 hours yesterday. Typically I do less but I wanted to be SURE it was dry as I had a time sensitive order to fulfill. It printed beautifully, again. Not that there was a period of time this was having adhesion issues but it was because I swapped my nozzles, and I guess it wasn't doing the same temps that I had dialed in on the previous nozzle. I did some temp towers and changed the settings and we were off. Remember to keep your bed leveled too, I think this also hurt me and I thought it was the roll.0 complaints when I expected to have at least a couple.Back to buy more. This printed really well after I dialed in my settings. Picture is of my first print. I used 215 nozzle and 70 bed Temps for initial layers then 205 nozzle / 60 bed for the rest with a 2.4 layer size. My retraction was too high at 1.3 on a direct drive so I lowered to 1 for the next one that's printing and coming out perfect. I could use lower layers for detail. I had to tighten my extruder a bit due to the silk on a cr10 Smart Pro. Printed great, good adhesion, and the colors look fantastic. This is my first sparkly color change filament and I had a few failed attempts. I have a mirror bed and I tried printing like I normally do but the prints would curl and eventually get pulled away from the plate. What I ended up doing:Up the heat on bed and nozzle by a few degrees for initial layers.Baby step the nozzle down during printing to get a good squish.Use a raft.Has issues sticking, I wasted probably 1/4 of a roll just trying to get it to print properly. There is also a couple of layers throughout that have had issues. Probably works great on a decent machine, I however have a cheaper 200$ machine and I will probably be going back to the amazon basics, in till i get a better machine.Very good quality! When I print smaller objects it doesn’t really print multiple colors. I wish the color changed more often, but other than that it looks and works great!Color changing PETG is why I went with this product. There are not many out there. The print quality is nice, and the color changes without clogging or adhesion issues. I did find that the recommended print temp of 220-230C was not sufficient, I ran this at 242C on an Ender 3 pro with a Biqu H2 direct drive extruder, that has the standard V6 nozzle. I also printed at up to 80mm per second with no issues other than bubbling. The bubbles were always very small and due to what I was printing it was not a deal breaker. It may be to some. I tried running at recommended settings at first and found the filament would not push through or stick to the bed. And even when it did, it still had tiny bubbles. I also found that the recommended bed temp of 70C was occasionally causing warping around the edges even in my enclosure. I bumped it up to 80 and it stuck well and peeled easily when cooled on my PEI sheet. I only have a year of printing under my belt so maybe the bubbles are user error, but this is the only PETG I have had this issue with so far. This product is garbage. It is stringy it doesn’t adhere to the mat at all. Not worth the money I spent on this. Very disappointed
